The US Navy brought Don to Hampton Roads 30 years ago. Upon honorable discharge, he spent 14 years in government contracting as a logistician, configuration manager and database administrator. In 2000, he graduated from Old Dominion University, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. He is a volunteer driver for the American Cancer Society’s “Road to Recovery” program and a board member of Hampton Roads Business OutReach.
